			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hybrid Vehicle Team participated in the 2013 Engineering Expo at the University. This Expo is known for bringing thousands of  elementary, middle and high schoolers as well as the general public from all parts of Wisconsin. Students were able to interact with the team members and learn about our research with RCCI as well as some general facts about hybrid vehicles.</p>

<p>After the Expo the team attended the Engineering Expo Alumni Event held in the Mechanical Engineering building. Alumni from different fields of engineering attended this event and the team members were able to talk with the alumni about the current projects the team is taking on.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Some members from the Hybrid Team attended the Chicago Auto Show this past Saturday. Major automotive companies came to this big event to show off some of their vehicles that are on the market, soon to be on the market, and concept vehicles. There was also an opportunity to test drive and participate in simulations. Overall this was a great experience for the team members. Special thanks to Glenn for making this happen.</p>

Brian has been working with the team for about two and half years, and has contributed to some of the larger scale mechanical projects in past years. His goals as the new mechanical leader are to keep projects organized with status updates, as well as to give new members the opportunity to learn from old members. Congratulations Brian and best of luck to you as the new Mechanical Leader!</p>

<p>Also this past Friday, the team recognized a new team member for his hard work over winter break. Peter Conis received the Mover n Shaker Award for coming into the shop over winter break to help get the vehicle running fully electric before going to the Wisconsin Corn and Soy Expo.</p>
