New Sponsor Boeing!

We’d like to thank Boeing ✈️ for their support of our team!  As the world’s largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial jetliners, we are honored to be sponsored by this amazing company. They continue to be innovators in aerospace and their support allows us to continue our electric vehicle innovations! Thank you Boeing! ?

Happy Homecoming!

Last Friday, our team participated in the UW Homecoming Parade. We drove both our electric and hybrid vehicles in the parade and handed out UWGP can coolers with information about our sponsor. This was a wonderful opportunity to showcase our vehicles as well as share information about the Wisconsin Hybrid team.  Our electric vehicle, the Mooventure, led the way followed by our parallel through-the-road hybrid, the Moovada.

Congratulations to Clint!

Recently, a Mover and Shaker Award was give to Clint Carney! This award is given to team members who go above and beyond on their work for the team. Clint is the design lead for the fuel tank that will go in the Mooventure as we work to make it a hybrid. Keep up the good work!

Introducing Our Newest Sponsor… New Eagle!

This semester we are so excited to be sponsored by New Eagle. New Eagle specializes in hybrid and electric vehicle control systems. They help clients built control software that really speed up the process. They also work in autonomous, electro-hydraulic, and engine control products. New Eagle also provide us with expertise as we start our process to turn the Mooventure into an autonomous vehicle.

Oshkosh Corporation Helps Wisconsin Hybrid Begin Autonomous Vehicle Endeavor!

Earlier this semester we were incredibly happy to team up with Oshkosh Corporation Thanks to one of the biggest donations in Wisconsin Hybrid’s recent history, we are proud to announce that we now have the resources to begin our Autonomous Vehicle research! This is a project that has been in the works for a long time and we couldn’t ask for a better company to support us. Oshkosh makes so many unbelievable products right here in Wisconsin. From defense vehicles like the MRAP All-Terrain Vehicle (photo below), to JLG Boom Lifts that are able to reach heights of 185ft (to the left of our car is a JLG scissors lift), they are leaders in specialty vehicles. Thank you again Oshkosh, for your support of our team. We’re very excited about what the future holds!  ?
